
AMBASSADOR CARLTON A. MASTERS

Ambassador Masters is a principal and co-founder of GoodWorks International, LLC. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer he is responsible for the strategic planning and long-term direction of the firm. He negotiates and coordinates client engagement and provides strategic counsel to governments throughout Africa and the Caribbean. Ambassador Masters also plays a leading role in convening engagements between numerous Fortune 500 corporations and Caribbean and African nations.
Before establishing GoodWorks, Ambassador Masters enjoyed a distinguished and successful career in international banking. He has held senior executive positions with the Bank of Montreal in financial centers across North America, Europe and the Caribbean, and was appointed Agent General and Deputy Minister of Trade to the United States on behalf of the Government of Ontario, Canada.
Long active in African affairs, Ambassador Masters currently is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is an active member of the boards of directors of the Africa-America Institute, the Southern Africa Enterprise Development Fund, and remains active with the Corporate Council of Africa.
The Ambassador, who is a native of Jamaica, resides in Washington, DC. He is parent of three children.
