WASHINGTON, D.C., October2, 2008 – GoodWorks International, LLC, recently welcomed Rep. Donald M. Payne (D-NJ) (D-NY) to a fundraiser at the company’s Washington office.
Rep. Payne represents the 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, which encompasses most of the city of Newark, parts of Jersey City and Elizabeth as well as some suburban communities in Essex and Union counties. He is the first African American to represent New Jersey in Congress. Rep. Payne currently serves as Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Africa and Global Health. He is also a member of the House Committee on Education and Labor.
