The GoodWorks International Foundation continues its efforts in education by selecting Ms. Getruda Kiula as a scholarship recipient.

GOODWORKS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP TO TANZANIAN STUDENT
WASHINGTON, D.C., July 15, 2008 – Today, Mr. Wallace Ford, President and Chief Operating Officer of GoodWorks International LLC, announced the awarding of an educational scholarship to a student in Tanzania.
The 4-year scholarship has been awarded by the GoodWorks International Foundation to Ms. Getruda Charles Kiula and will be applied to her secondary education schooling. Ms. Kiula, a participant in the Wanawake Na Maedeleo Foundation’s (WAMA) Girl Child Education Program, was born on March 16, 1991 and is currently being raised by her aunt. Her Excellency Mama Salma Kikwete, First Lady of the United Republic of Tanzania, is the President of the WAMA Foundation.
Mr. Ford stated, “GoodWorks International is pleased to be part of such an important educational initiative in Tanzania and looks forward to a continued partnership with the WAMA Foundation.”
